In what can be deemed an upset, Filipino bantamweight Mike Plania(24-1 12kos) defeated WBO #1 contender and Chicago native Joshua Greer Jr(22-2-1 12kos) via unanimous decision. Greer was floored in rounds 1 and 6 with judges Tim Cheatham, Dave Moretti, and Patricia Morse Jarman scoring the fight 96-92, 94-94, and 97-91 for Plania.
The bout headlined Top Rank On ESPN June 16, 2020 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
