Miguel Berchelt Dominates Jonathan Victor Barros In Third Round KO

Berchelt put on a dominant display at the Poliorum Zamna in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico as he retained his WBC Super Featherweight title.

Berchelt controlled the fight from the start, Barros was knocked down three times before the fight ended in the third round. Barros had beaten the count for the third time but his trainer wanted an end to the bout as the referee waved it off.

Miguel Berchelt improves to (34-1, 30 KOs) and Jonathan Víctor Barros falls to (41–6-1, 22 KOs).

Berchelt will now fight fellow Mexican Miguel Roman in a mandatory defense of his world title.

If Berchelt beats Roman, then WBA Super Featherweight champion Gervonta Davis could be next for Berchelt.

Miguel Roman crushed Michel Marcano in two rounds to set up a world title fight against Miguel Berchelt.

Miguel Roman improves to (60-12, 47 KOs), the previously undefeated Michel Marcano falls to (17-1-1, 14 KOs).

Josh Taylor Defeats Viktor Postol Via Unanimous decision in WBC Final Eliminator

Taylor got through the toughest test of his career as he successfully defended his WBC silver super lightweight title in Glasgow, Scotland. Taylor sent Postol to the canvas at the end of the tenth round.

The three judges scored it 118-110, 117-110 and 119-108 in favour of Taylor, the scorecards do no reflect how close the fight really was.

Josh Taylor improves to (13-0, 11 KOs) and Viktor Postol falls to (29-2, 12 KOs).
