Harrison V Charlo II Saturday 21st December 2019

Harrison vs. Charlo II will see the highly anticipated rematch between WBC Super Welterweight Champion Tony “Superbad” Harrison and former world champion Jermell Charlo headlining the FOX PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes Saturday, December 21 from Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.

Televised coverage begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and features rising heavyweight sensation Efe Ajagba taking on Iago Kiladze in a 10-round opening attraction.

All the pressure for this rematch will be  on Jermell Charlo and the pressure is starting to show, while Tony Harrison is remaining very calm and collected “You  a young cub,” said Harrison to Charlo in their FACE TO FACE PBC ON FOX. “You’re a clown. I’m in his head. He’s mentally weak. You’re emotional, man.”The big question on the night will be if we see a different performance from Charlo this time as Harrison will be thinking he doesn’t need to change much from the last performance but Charlo knows he can’t fight the same fight and he emphasised this by saying he was coming to knock Harrison out, but his knockout percentage isn’t that high and Harrison seemed to take his best shots in the last fight without any real issues.

Charlo appears very angry at the minute, angry at the result of the previous fight, angry at the judges, angry at the referee, hell even angry at our Editor and Chief Terel Vann who appeared to annoy both Charlos in the post fight press conference by suggesting that Social Media was saying both Charlos clearly lost their fights even though Jermall won his contest. I personally believe if you are this angry going into a fight you are not in the correct mindset and that can only play into your opponents hands.
If Charlo is frustrated before he even steps into the ring then harrison will know the bombs are coming from the first bell so just tuck up and take it and then Charlo will punch himself out.

It is almost like the Charlos believe their hype and delusions of grandeur so much that they are not allowed to have a loss on their record, but the truth is Jermall has a loss on his record and it is a valid loss, as Harrison fought the correct fight the last time, yes, he was cautious in the first half off the fight while Charlo was trying to knock him out and throw big heavy shots but in the second half of the fight he came into his own while Charlo slowed down and his corner didn’t appear to have a plan B when they seen their fighter was losing rounds but it was a close fight.

I think it will be hard to predict the outcome of the second fight as Charlo must change his approach and if he does then he could win this fight but if he is stubborn and thinks he can come into the fight and try and knock Harrison out early then there is a good chance the fight will go the same way as the first one with a Harrison win.
