World title contender hopefuls, Liam Paro (Super-lightweight), Jacob Ng (Lightweight) and Demsey McKean (Heavyweight), have all won third respective fights at the Eaton Hills fight night, held at the Eaton Hills Hotel in Brisbane, Queensland.

All three fighters were able to get their undefeated records intact as Paro now moves to 18-0, Ng moves to 13-0 and Mckean (17-0).

Headlining the event was Paro taking on Hwang Kil Kim (11-2). Paro was taken the distance by Kim in heavily contested fight. Paro did dominate the fight with all this judges finding in favour of Paro. Now at 18-0, and ranked third in the IBF, it’s only a matter of time before Paro gets his well deserved title shot.

Jacon Ng contested against Krai Setthaphon (29-5) for the vacant WBO Oriental Lightweight title. Ng easily added the WBO Oriental title to his collection with a third round TKO victory.

Ng is now on the WBO world title radar, along with the IBF as he is ranked 15th with the IBF.

Heavyweight Demsey McKean, had a easy night in the ring against Scott Belshaw (10-8). Belshaw who has been in the ring with the likes of current Lineal Heavyweight champ Tyson Fury and former WBA Heavyweight champ Lucas Browne, was easy pickings for McKean. The fight resulted in a third round TKO for Mckean who will now begin to focus on his epic bout with Lucas Browne in March. Browne has his own bout against John Hopoate this Saturday night.

The night also crowned a new Australian Super-Lightweight champion. Justin Frost now (10-0-1) a former Australian Soldier and Afganistan Veteran, was taken the distance by Jackson Woods (4-1). Frost was given the victory by all three judges and the former soldier can now focus on his boxing career as he can start to obtain bigger fights elsewhere.

Paro, Ng and McKean continue to gain the attention of Australian and now world boxing.
