Saturday night seen featherweight world number 1 Anabel Ortiz now 27(4)-3(1)-0 successfully defend her WBA world title for a second time against Venezuela’s Debora Rengifo now 10(5)-5(2)-1. Their first encounter back in 2016 ended with a convincing unanimous decision in favour of Mexico’s Ortiz, and this was basically a carbon copy of that fight, with Ortiz again winning by unanimous decision. Ortiz has now successfully held this belt since 2013.

Coming into this fight undefeated and with the home town support Gradinar secured the vacant IBF Inter-continental female featherweight title with a unanimous decision over her Canadian opponent Olivia Gerula now 18(3)-18(3)-2.
