ITV launch their 2nd pay per view event for Chris Eubank Jr and with a price increase from £10 to £16.95 they are hoping to do a lot better than the first event, rumours have the first event figures from anywhere between 100K to 1 million views but without any official confirmation the only ones who know for sure are ITV.

Chris Eubank Jr (24 (19 KO’s)-1-0) is looking to make a statement with his first defence off his coveted IBO World Super Middleweight title, he is facing his toughest opponent since losing to Billy Joe Saunders in 2014 but since that defeat he has won six fights on the way to the contest.

He won the title by convincingly beating Australia’s Renold Quinlan with a late stoppage but Quinlan was not expect to be on the same level as Eubank Jr and although most people see this fight as a step up in class Eubank Jr is predicating the same result with a stoppage. With the winner of this fight going into the World Super Series, it definitely adds some spice to the contest and gives the fighters something else to concentrate on and it would be a platform Eubank Jr would believe he could thrive on.

Arthur Abraham ‘King Arthur’ 46 (30 KO’s)-5-0 comes into the fight as the former WBO World Super Middleweight Champion having only lost the title in April 2016. It was a title that he held for just over two years and six fights, eventually losing to the impressive Mexican Gilberto Ramirez.

Abraham will be hoping to use this event and the pending World Super series (if successful) as a  springboard back to the big money fights he was used to. When you look at the people ‘King Arthur’ has lost to there is no shame in it with names like Andre Direll, Carl Froch, Andre Ward, Robert Stieglitz & Gilberto Rameirez.

Also featuring on the card, Lee Selby makes his long awaited IBF World Featherweight defence against Jonathan Barros, Robbie Davies Jr takes on Michal Syrowatka for his first defence of the WBA Continental Super Lightweight, Kid Galahad fights Jose Cayetano for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Featherweight Title, There is a local mouth watering contest in Martin Ward taking on Anthony Cacace for the British and Commonwealth Super Fetherweight Title, and Chris Kongo looks to add another impressive performance to his up and coming career.
