The contest between Brian Castano and Cedric Vitu lived up to the world title fight status and was very entertaining bout from the first bell. Vitu showed how he has amassed so many wins as a wily old veteran of the sport showcasing his tough chin and willingness to exchange even though he’s not a big puncher.

Castano utilized great hand speed mixed with power shots, to win the early rounds and as the fight wore on it was mostly dominated by the younger Castano who kept his opponent at bay with a stiff jab and fast combinations for the majority of the fight.

Vitu tried to keep up with the pace but in the later rounds he tired and was eventually caught with a vicious right hand that put him down in the12th and final round. Vitu slowly got to his feet on wobbly legs then Castano proceeded to rush in and finish the fight with a powerful combination.

Brian Castano now moves to (15-0 11 KO’s) and is prime for his next fight to be a huge one, while Cedric Vitu now (46-3 19 KO’s) will now have to continue to try and climb the 154 pound ladder after
suffering his first knockout loss but is a world title fight a step to far for Vitu?

Castano is probably the best Argentinian fighter out there at the minute and def one to watch.
There are big money unification fights out there for Castano, potentially against WBA Regular champion Erislandy Lara, WBC Champ Jermell Charlo, IBF champion Jarrett Hurd, or WBO’s Champion Sadam Ali.
